Tuwa's Tipi III

The tipi, woven as part of a performative project (Pathostheater) in 2022, continued to grow as an installation at the Freischwimmen meets Rodeo festival in 2022. At the Kunst aktuell 2024 exhibition by the Rosenheim Art Association in the Rosenheim städtische Galerie, the tipi was given a privileged place in the 6 m high entrance hall. Visitors could make themselves comfortable inside (without shoes!) and lie down on a carpet made from cuffs of all the T-shirts used by Doro Seror for other weaving projects from around the world. During an event to which visitors brought their own worn clothes, the tipi also grew here. The tipi stands for an ideology of peaceful cooperation, for sustainability and represents a place of retreat and protection. It is and remains a usable healing installation.
