For four days, women meet in the Pathostheater and weave a teepee out of old clothes they have brought with them. The technique in which they weave is a very old technique, fossils of mats of grass and twigs woven in this technique have been found. Every full hour is dedicated to a specially selected woman. She tells a story sitting in the teepee or talks about something that is close to her heart. The others continue weaving and listening. The contents heard are archived through the memory of those present. There are no video or audio recordings.

The word Tuwa is a female given name among the Hopi Indians and means "earth". The Hopi and other peoples, as well as the Tuwa people who live in the Russian part of Mongolia, pass on their (shaman) songs, stories and customs purely orally.
A teepee is a simple dwelling that offers shelter. It has no artificial bottom, so you are always in contact with the earth. Working with the hands is contemplative and promotes remembrance. When working haptically with textiles, which have played a role in people's lives, you deal with objects with a soul and breathe new life into them. The souls of the protagonists appearing come alive when the story is told orally and listened to at the same time. The words weave themselves into stories, interweave with the stories of others. Associations generate memories of one's own stories, and sharing them with others renews them.

The atmosphere is intimate and sensual, the soft material of the fabric and the growing teepee,  convey a feeling of security, so that the women tell very emotional and touching stories. Weaving is both factual and symbolic of coming together and working together on something bigger.
