Since the space in which the artists of the project "Overlapping Kassel", show their works over a period of 10 days during Documenta 15, is also a "school" that conveys innovative ways of artistic and cultural practices, I present my “Joy of Weaving “project.

The participating artists and visitors learn how to weave, knot and braid used, no longer wearable or used clothing. During the workshop we are working on a common rope, which the artist Doris Steinbichler will later use in a performance video.
“Joy of weaving” has set itself the task of conveying the technique of processing textile waste and transforming it into art worldwide in order to reduce the immense mountain of waste from excess clothing.
